Discover Tomasz Donocik Jewellery

Awards and press recognition. It’s not easy for a young talented designer to emerge with something new; it’s even harder if he is a jewellery one.

Tomasz Donocik is an exception: exception made of hard work and not so uncommon ideas originally developed. His creations are between the concept of ‘timeless’ and the ‘ultra-contemporary wearable’ pieces of art. In his design you can find the touch of something ancient – there’s a clear approach to the history of jewel.

Also you can see how things considered old are still wearable. He has been able to keep out the 19th century dandy from his inspiration by the Russian Empire: from leather braces with detail in gold plated silver, to silver horse headed cufflinks with blue topaz or black pearl, to necklaces made in silver and Siberian horse hair.

Donocik knows how to work it, how to keep it up to date for our time. As a sign of a wide creativity, his collections are growing in number. In each there’s a part of how men’s jewellery should be. The Rising Star collection is a clear example of how mysteriously dark and stylish a man can be: rings with net shaped cuts, hematite and black Swarovski, oxidized silver and black leather.

Spring can be the right season to keep jewellery on. As it’s easy to keep clothes off, it’s easier to feel naked with just a plain t-shirt and no necklace or no bracelets. Just a little piece more can save you from slovenliness – as well as it can make you look overdressed.

Tomasz Dominick’s perfectly balanced touch of style seems to be not only a compromise for a perfect spring outfit, but looks like the right way to restart a relation with jewellery for all those who think men should not wear it.
