I had the great pleasure of attending the Next bloggers network event in Central London last week, and what a brilliant time I had. Some of all my Favourite things in one room: Fashion, Music, Candy Shop and Bloggers all for the Next Bloggers Takeover - they sure know how to throw a party in true Fashionista style!
Influencial bloggers were invited to view the latest trends from the new summer collections, and to tag the items we loved the most, from the women’s and men’s collections, with myself focusing on menswear. I tagged items I thought were on trend mixed with a few favourites which really caught my eye.
From the Global Traveller collection: Aztec Stripe T-shirt £18.
Boat house collection: Weave Loafters £45.
Havana collection: Olive Green Smart suit jacket £64, matching trousers £35, red smart suit jacket £80, matching trousers £40.
And finally beach hut pink swim shorts £10 with aqua pumps also £10.
I had a sneaky browse at some of the womenswear collections and promised myself not to purchase anything at a later date, which was very hard to do but luckily a tall glass of white wine came my way to divert my attention.
But without a doubt, the main attraction was the Photobooth with the option to dress up, which became very addictive and just about all the bloggers were hooked. The Candy Corner was such a great idea too. Seeing everyone grinning like Chesire cats as our inner childs came out helping ourselves to the classic nostalgic sweets.
To top of the atmosphere there was a really on point DJ who had the bloggers rocking out towards the end of the evening. He had a really party popping selection of tunes which actually lead to a dance off!
The Next Take over was a truly amazing evening and the opportunity to network with other bloggers while being served helpings of treats such as mini burgers, fish and chips, endless supplies of drinks and a very generous gift bag has made my summer for this year already!
